1. Flush the Stomach
The first thing that you must do is to flush the stomach of the chicken to get rid of the maximum poison as quickly as possible.
How to flush the stomach?
Take 1 teaspoon of Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) and mix it in a ½ cup of water and pour it into the chicken’s mouth. Do it 2-3 times a day until the chicken recovers.
2. Transfer your Chicken to a Well Ventilated Area
When you suspect poison immediately transfer your chicken from that area to a well-ventilated and well-lit place.
To protect yourself and others from the poison wear gloves before touching the chicken and also remove the source of the poison as soon as possible.
3. Take the Help of Vet
If you live in an area where the vet is nearby then instantly book an appointment and take your chicken to him. If it is not possible, seek advice from the vet on the phone.
